About

Neil Baker is a screenwriter in England, specialising in tense action dramas and thrillers. With a burning desire to write for film and television, he often has several ideas and projects on the go at once. Described as the "go-to guy for violence scenes", Neil draws on his martial arts experience to write detailed descriptive action. He works both alone and collaboratively to produce the best possible story and screenplay.

Neil decided to pursue a screenwriting career in 2008 during a scriptwriting session at university. He bought the recommended book and read it cover to cover in one weekend. Since then, he has strived to learn as much as possible about the profession, writing various scripts and networking with other writers all around the world.

Neil is currently working on various features, TV specs and short films, including a script for Mellow 9 Productions, overseen by writers Adrian Scott and Michael Kyei. You can find out more on the projects page.
