[Neil] was one of the first people to believe and jump on our film, and has always given 110% consistently without exception from the beginning. When I read his action writing and talked with him about his creative vision and imagination, I was absolutely blown away by how talented he really is and frequently describe him as one of our project's very best, which has led me to second him to other people and projects as the most reliable and quality producers of story drama. He has an intuitive understanding of what makes a film great and an immensely infectious passion for impact, effect, quality and entertainment. He's the default first person I'd turn to when I'd want an action scene written.
Technically Neil's definitely an action specialist, although he does have great flair with plot structure and the general mood of a script. He tends to work incredibly fast and produce volumes of material very, very quickly. You put him where he excels - drama, violence, smashing, fighting, exploding, killing, arguing - all ready to be photographed beautifully to knock a viewer's socks off. Neil will visualise on paper for you what to film - in a way that can truly terrify, amaze and gasp. He is the only person who has written murder scenes that have made me physically jolt back and reel from a screenplay displaying on a computer screen.
As a person, Neil is a very wise old soul. He's always positive, always enthusiastic, always ready to get really involved. There's no BS, no politicking, always focus on the greater good (i.e. making the best movie) and a gentle openness to others that so many other ego-driven industry types desperately need to learn from, that make him an absolute pleasure and inspiration to work and bounce around ideas with.
All action writers are good, and write powerful things. But Neil is very different. I honestly believe he is one of the greatest action writers of his generation, and soon to become one of the greatest directors.

Neil is one of the most dedicated and enthusiastic writers I know. Highly motivated and generous, too, he has given me a lot of screen writing advice since we met last year. His professionalism, drive to succeed and limitless passion for writing set him apart and I feel lucky to have him has a writing partner and a friend, too.
As a writing partner, Neil is fantastic to work with. He's open to all sorts of ideas and takes any criticism I provide graciously. Neil always strives to make collaborative projects work to their best potential whilst keeping a level head and monitoring the projects as a whole – with Neil, you know you'll have a TV series or feature film planned out in its entirety; no corners cut and no stone left unturned. Co-writing with Neil is always a pleasure.
Neil, as a story developer, is a gem. He really understands what you are trying to do with your plot and he gives just the right balance of criticism and advice in areas such as structure, character development, action and dialogue.
Neil's always happy to read through my work and provide feedback. I have almost always agreed with what he has suggested regarding the improvement of my work and I regard his opinion highly. I know that in taking his advice I will improve my work tenfold.
Incredibly talented in all areas of writing from plot conception to development and execution, Neil is especially good at action-writing. Time and again he has injected healing doses of action and suspense into my scripts that I would otherwise never have achieved on my own.
Well, what more can I say! Neil will definitely go far, and he'll most definitely help you go far, too!

Neil has been an extraordinary asset! I have never known of a person who gets so into his writing! He has added such enthusiasm to our project and I will surely work with him on future projects. This guy has got what it takes to be a success!
